A Spor claim Besiktas have turned their attentions to signing Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph as they look to bring in new recruits before next week’s Super Lig transfer deadline.

The Turkish club are said to be very close to loaning Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius, and A Spor say they are also targeting Fabian Delph.

Besiktas have yet to replace Anderson Talisca and it’s reported that they may sign Delph to fill the void left by the Brazilian.

Delph played mainly as a left back last season but with Manchester City first choice Benjamin Mendy now fully fit he may struggle to get games in this campaign.

It’s reported that Besiktas board member Ali Naibi has met with Txiki Begiristain with regards to Delph and he’s presented a loan offer to Manchester City.

The Istanbul club now have until the 31st August to get a deal done for the England international.

Delph is still under contract at Manchester City until 2020.
