Out of contract in the summer, Dedryck Boyata is going to be a wanted man when his contract at Parkhead comes to an end.
The Celtic defender, who also happens to now be a semi-regular under Roberto Martinez with the Belgium national team, is attracting some interest from clubs like Fulham.
On top of Claudio Ranieri’s side, Lazio in Italy are continuing to ‘follow’ his progress, having already expressed their desire to sign him last summer.
A deal was never agreed on, and Boyata remained in Glasgow, where Brendan Rodgers expects him to finish the current campaign.
After that, however, it’s clear he will leave Scotland, and Corriere dello Sport believe Lazio will be among those who could come forward.
They might not, as no one can really predict the future, but the interest is definitely still there, according to them, and they label the potential move as a ‘great coup’.
So far this season, the defender has made 21 appearances in all competitions for Celtic, scoring one goal and picking up one assist.
