Turkish TV channel A Spor report Galatasaray are closing in on signing Everton striker Oumar Niasse, who will be out of contract next month.
Niasse has been linked with a move to Turkish Super Lig ever since he moved to Everton, and A Spor say Galatasaray could ‘finally’ complete the signing of the player.
It’s claimed the Super Lig side have contacted Niasse’s entourage and that first talks were very positive. The Senegalese striker reportedly wants to play regular football at this stage of his career, and he feels Galatasaray could offer him the chance to do that.
Niasse is seen as a good replacement for Florin Andone, who has returned to Brighton after suffering a serious knee injury this month.
The 30 year old has had loan spells at Hull City and Cardiff City during his spell with Everton, and has made just 3 appearances in the Premier League this season.
Niasse was linked with moves to Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Trabzonspor in the past but it seems Gala are leading the race to land the Everton player.
