Turkish newspaper Star claim Fenerbahce could make an offer to sign Everton defender Yerry Mina this summer, despite it being made clear he’s not keen on a move.

The Super Lig side were linked with the Colombia international last year before his move to Goodison Park.

It’s reported the Everton player is seen as an alternative to Simon Kjaer and if Fenerbahce are unable to land the Sevilla centre back then they will turn their attention to Mina. Fener have made it one of their priorities to bring an experienced central defender in this transfer window.

The 24 year old is currently representing his country at the Copa America and Star said he will make a decision after the end of the tournament.

Mina has made his position clear via his uncle Jair, who also acts as his agent, but Fener seem to have put fingers in ears.

He made 15 appearances for Everton in all competitions last season and is under contract with the Premier League club until June 2023.
