Sporx claim Galatasaray are currently leading the race to sign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma. They report Chelsea are looking to loan Zouma to either the Turkish League or Belgian League, and they believe Galatasaray are in pole position to land the Frenchman.

Sporx say the Chelsea board are open to letting Zouma join Galatasaray on loan to allow the 22-year old to regain his match fitness after 12 months struggling with a serious injury.

Interest for Zouma is expected to be very high but Galatasaray are confident Chelsea will do them a favour by allowing Zouma to join them. The Turkish giants could also ask for a right of redemption in the deal.

Galatasaray are looking for a brand new central defence partnership and are looking at several alternatives. Real Madrid’s Pepe has been linked with the club, along with Manchester City owned pair Eliaquim Mangala and Jason Denayer.

Zouma has played just 7 Premier League matches for Chelsea this season and is under contract with the Blues until 2019.
