Sabah report Galatasaray are in a hurry to sign Fulham attacker Ryan Babel because of the reported interest from Norwich City and Newcastle United.
The Turkish newspaper report both Norwich City and Newcastle United are tracking Babel ahead of the summer window, along with Gala.
According to Sabah, Galatasaray have made contact with Babel’s agent and the Turkish club were confident of getting a deal done. However, with Norwich City and Newcastle United now in the race to sign the Netherlands international, the Istanbul club are concerned.
Babel has previously stated he wants to stay in the Premier League to boost his Euro 2020 chances, but Sabah say Galatasaray are ready to offer him a lucrative salary to convince the 32-year old over a return to Turkey.
The Super Lig club are ready to pay him €2.5m a season plus a €2m signing on fee.
This summer the Dutchman will become a free agent when his contract with Fulham expires.
