Turkish website Sporx claim Besiktas are very close to signing Divock Origi from Liverpool on a loan deal until the end of the season, which sounds like a Turkish slant favouring optimism.
It’s reported the Belgian striker is also looking to leave Liverpool due to a lack of playing time and it’s said he wants to prove himself at Besiktas.
According to Sporx, Besiktas have a good relationship with Liverpool because of the Loris Karius transfer deal, and the Turkish side are looking to use this to their advantage to see off competition from other interested clubs.
The Super Lig side are also planning to insert a redemption clause into the agreement with Liverpool, but Sporx say the Merseyside club have reservations about this.
In the recent Merseyside derby Origi scored the winner but this wasn’t enough to get him a place in Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven on Saturday.
Origi has played just 83 minutes of competitive football for the Premier League leaders this season and is under contract until June 2020.
