OFK chairman Daniel Kindberg has told the Swedish media he’s received offers for Saman Ghoddos, after rumours a bid has come in from Queens Park Rangers.
Speaking to Fotboll Direkt, Kindberg was asked about QPR’s interest in Ghoddos after reports the Championship side were looking to sign the 23 year old: “I will not comment on the details, but we have received bids.”
The OFK chief added: “If there is a good bid for both the club and the player, then we will listen. I would not mind 40m Krona (£3.8m), but we have not set a fee because we are not at that stage yet.”
According to claims in England, QPR have tabled a bid in the region of 20m Krona (£1.9m) to sign Ghoddos, but it seems the West London side may have to increase this to land the Swede.
OFK are holding out for double this from the English club.
With the transfer deadline just ten days away QPR will have to act quickly to get a deal done for the forward, and the signs are positive at the moment, as long as they improve their offer to the Swedish side.
Ghoddos is contracted to OFK until December 2019.
