According to Izmir based newspaper Yeni Asir, Goztepe are interested in signing Bournemouth striker Lys Mousset on a loan deal.
It’s reported the Izmir club are in the market for an attacker after a disappointing season, and Mousset is on the radar of the Super Lig side.
Goztepe president Mehmet Sepil has reportedly held talks with the player’s agent, and he could now make an offer to loan the 23 year old.
Last summer Goztepe brought in former Derby County striker Cameron Jerome but the English striker only managed to score 5 goals. Subsequently the Super Lig side are looking to replace him.
Mousset has spent most of his time on the bench under Eddie Howe and at this stage of his career he could move on to play regular first team football.
The former Le Havre striker is under contract with Bournemouth until June 2020 so a loan move would appear highly unlikely unless there’s a renewal beforehand.
