According to Beyaz TV journalist Sercan Dikme, via Futbol Arena, Besiktas president Fikret Orman is today flying to England to complete a deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Romain Saiss.
It’s claimed the Turkish side have reached an agreement with both the player and Wolves as Orman looks to get the transfer over the line before the Super Lig transfer deadline.
Besiktas are in the market for a midfielder and Saiss’ ability to also play as a central defender could also be good for Besiktas manager Abdullah Avci. The Black Eagles boss is looking to strengthen his squad after an opening week defeat against Sivasspor.
The Turkish TV channel haven’t given any information on whether this will be a loan or a permanent transfer, but they claim the deal is almost completed.
The 29 year old midfielder made 26 appearances in all competitions for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side last season and he’s played already featured in five different games this campaign.
The Morocco international is under contract with the English club until June 2021.
