According to a claim in the Swedish media a Premier League club is in talks with Djurgarden defender Felix Beijmo.
Last week Djurgarden sporting director Bosse Andersson confirmed he held talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the last window: “We know his value and we know what we want. He’s an incredible player we’re talking about so it’s clear that interest is great for him.
“It is true that we were in talks in January with Wolverhampton and we know there is still Premier League interest for him.”
Fotbol Direkt have reported on the latest developments over Beijmo’s future and say at least two clubs are in discussions with the 20 year old, one from the Premier League and the other from the Bundesliga.
Beijmo is said to be valued in the region of €30m Krona and it seems there could be a race to sign the youngster this summer with several English and German clubs said to be interested.
During the last transfer window it was reported Wolves were in intensive talks to sign Beijmo, but a move didn’t materialise.
The Swede has continued to impress this season for his club and it would be no surprise if Wolves came back in for him this summer.
