Real Madrid ‘have called’ Wolves to voice their concerns over Jesus Vallejo’s situation, reports Monday’s edition of AS.
The Spanish newspaper explains Madrid have been left disappointed with the defender’s lack of minutes during his loan move to the Premier League club. That loan was supposed to last until the end of the current season, yet it’s now predicted Vallejo will be moving on sooner.
Despite his struggles, the player isn’t short of offers, and AS reports the clubs moving most strongly are Eintracht Frankfurt and Leganes.
Madrid are ‘very concerned’ about Vallejo’s situation and intend to ‘break’ the loan agreement with Wolves, enabling the 22 year to then move elsewhere in the winter market.
The Spanish newspaper explains there’s some surprise, because Nuno Espirito Santo pushed for the signing personally and even made effort to talk Vallejo into the move.
That he’s then hardly been used is a blow, and AS believe the player is also keen to move on.
What Wolves think of this, and whether there’s a firm recall option, isn’t mentioned.
