Turkish website Fotospor claim Besiktas could make an offer for Leicester City defender Ricardo Pereira.
The Portuguese right-back suffered a serious injury last season but is expected to return to action soon. Fotospor claim that after Leicester City signed Timothy Castagne from Atalanta they could let Pereira leave, with Besiktas interested in his services.
Besiktas are in the market for a new right-back after parting ways with Gokhan Gonul and Pereira is said to be one of the players they are currently looking at.
Besiktas could make a loan move for the 26 year old but Fotospor haven’t given any indication whether Leicester City would be prepared to accept such an offer. However, it seems a bit ambitious, considering the financial situation of the Istanbul side at the moment.
The former Porto defender made 33 appearances in all competitions for Brendan Rodgers’s side last season, scoring four goals and providing three assists. Pereira’s contract with the Foxes will expire at the end of June 2023.
