On May 26th, we carried a report from Le10 Sport, who explained Everton have asked for information about Saint-Étienne’s Denis Bouanga.
Another report from Le10 Sport brings the latest update and their headline states Claude Puel’s side are ‘waiting for Everton’.
Within the report, it’s explained Rennes have tabled a €12m offer for the 25-year-old, but the latter’s employer are demanding a minimum price of €15m.
In addition to this, Saint-Étienne are determined to take more time because of the arrival of the Merseyside club as, according to the report, the French club are alerted by Everton’s ‘serious interest’ in the winger.
Bouanga is included in the English side’s transfer ‘short list’ for attack and they are preparing an offer for him, according to the claims.
However, Carlo Ancelotti’s side haven’t ‘activated’ their plan to sign the Frenchman because they have been ‘idle in recent weeks’ due to the global health crisis.
Le10 add that Saint-Étienne are of the belief it’s ‘only a matter of time’ before the Premier League club make an offer for the wideman.
Bouanga has starred for the Ligue 1 side in all competitions this season, scoring 12 goals and registering five assists in 35 appearances.
