Earlier on Friday, we covered a report from Corriere Dello Sport which detailed Crystal Palace’s interest in Lazio midfielder Daichi Kamada.
It was said that as the player’s contract with the Serie A side expires at the end of the season, it’s him who has the option to extend it for other three years.
With that story making some noise in the Italian media, outlet TuttoMercatoWeb now shows up with a piece on the future of the Crystal Palace target.
The website highlights that Kamada has little time to decide about his stay at Lazio, as the clause for the unilateral renewal expires at the end of May.
The player only needs to trigger it and he’ll have a deal with the club until June 2026, worth €3.5m net per season.
In case Crystal Palace are seriously interested, as has been stated, it’s then probably worth contacting the player’s entourage and showing that they can offer him something better before he agrees to that renewal.
His past of working with Oliver Glasner can only go in their favour.
