Patrick Cutrone hasn’t wanted to leave AC Milan this summer, but it’s quite clear the club have had very different ideas.

He was pulled out of training in the US on Thursday and sent straight back to Italy, via a refuelling stop in Frankfurt.

Arriving at Milan Malpensa airport, the 21 year old, still dressed in AC Milan training gear, looked completely bewildered as his eyes searched around the terminal for whoever was supposed to be there to meet him.

Milan News have coverage of him agreeing to a series of selfies with fans, but Cutrone didn’t want to comment on the claims he’s set to sign for Wolves.

Earlier today we covered claims from Italy that Wolves have agreed a fee with Milan for the sale. The Serie A club had originally wanted €25m, but will accept €18m plus two separate €2m bonus payments, potentially taking it to €22m.

If he does complete the move to Wolves, he’s likely going to need a lot of support and encouragement, given the way Milan have packaged him for sale, despite him being at the club since he was nine years old.
