SporunDibi.Com have claimed Besiktas loanee Anderson Talisca will be on his way to join Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United at the end of the season.
It’s been reported both Benfica and the Besiktas board have agreed his transfer to the Premier League side, and that the Turkish club will not exercise their loan option on the player for next season.
SporunDibi believe Besiktas have tried their best to secure him, and will continue to do so until he’s signed a contract with Manchester United, however, the Turkish club’s power is considerably limited, and it looks likely they will lose him.
For Besiktas to retain Talisca on a permanent basis they would to pay Benfica €25m, and this figure is unlikely to be met by their president Fikret Orman. Another negative point for Besiktas is that playing in the Premier League for Manchester United is an opportunity hard to turn down for the 23 year old.
Talisca’s future has been well covered in the Turkish press after it was reported Manchester United manager Mourinho is a long term admirer of the Brazilian playmaker. The most likely reasoning behind these latest claims is some in the media getting over excited.
Despite that, it’s worth pointing out once again that Jose Mourinho is on record explaining what a big fan he is of Talisca. When the Brazilian moved to Benfica, Mourinho scoffed at Benfica’s claims of discovering the talent, said he knew Talisca as a player well, and he’d have been in England if not for work permit problems.
