Look, we try not to get involved when it comes to Twitter accounts who claim to know things about a certain club, but with the track record Paris United have had this summer, it’s hard to ignore them.
Mohamed Bouhafsi, for example, largely seen as one of the most reliable journalists in France, has even claimed to be in contact with one of the people behind the account, showing the good work they’ve been doing in getting information from the club they support.
That’s why when the very same Twitter account tweeted on Friday Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez is currently in Paris, in a hotel in the 8th arrondissement to be precise, we felt compelled to write something up on it.

Exempt from Arsenal’s preseason squad for now due to taking part in the Confederations Cup with Chile, the 28-year-old is currently on holiday, and free to do whatever he pleases.
He could very well be in Paris on holiday, but with Paris Saint-Germain’s director of football, Antero Henrique, returning to the French capital from Miami a few days ago perhaps there’s more to it than that.
The Ligue 1 side have been admirers of the Arsenal star for quite some time, and always appeared one of the few clubs capable of affording his wage demands and having the money to convince the Gunners to let him go.
Adding to Paris United’s news, Paris Saint-Germain website Canal Supporters, who also have a decent track record when it comes to their local side, claimed they could confirm the information, and that Sanchez was there to finalise the details of his contract with the aforementioned Antero Henrique.
Sanchez has been on holiday in South America, with his social media posts suggesting he visited a region in Chile on Thursday, but it’s possible he’s since travelled to Paris.
We’re not saying take this as gospel, far from it, but it seems to us there could be something in this.
