There has been a lot of commotion over the past month or so surrounding the situation of Yann Karamoh over in France.
The Caen winger only has one year left on his contract, and clubs are trying to take advantage of that, attempting to lure him away from his current side, which they have every right to do.
Everton and Southampton in England have been linked with the 18-year-old, said to be ‘watching’ the player ahead of a potential move, yet they haven’t actually made any attempts to sign him.
One club who has, however, are Inter in Italy, who TF1 in France report have already sat down with the Ligue 1 side to try and purchase their starlet for around €5m.
It’s now up to Caen to give them an answer, and, despite the interest from both the Saints and the Toffees, it appears the player has already made his mind up.
The French outlet explain Karamoh has already made a move to Inter his ‘priority’, seduced by their ambitious project under Luciano Spalletti, and is waiting for the two clubs to sort out some kind of deal.
If Everton and Southampton are indeed, as has been previously reported, interested, it’s now or never, as TF1 seem pretty convinced this could get done fairly soon.
Mr Koeman, Mr Pellegrino. It’s over to you.
They’ll just have to come up with something more convincing than what Inter have offered.
