Turkish website Sporx claim West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Cenk Tosun from Everton.
The newly promoted Premier League side are in the market to strengthen their attack this summer, and Sporx report the Turkish international is on Slaven Bilic’s radar for next season.
Bilic and Tosun worked together at Besiktas for one season during the Croatian’s spell with the Turkish club, and Sporx claim he’s keen to sign his former player.
Super Lig clubs Fenerbahce and Besiktas are also said to be interested in signing the 29 year old and Sporx report Everton want to sell the player for around €8-10m. This might give West Brom the edge in their pursuit of him due to the two Istanbul club’s financial issues.
It seems Tosun is’t in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for next season, and the striker desperately needs first-team football ahead of the Euros next summer.
Tosun made 10 Premier League appearances in total for Everton and Crystal Palace last season, scoring two goals. His contract with the Toffees will expire at the end of June 2022.
