Crystal Palace are interested in signing Florinel Coman this summer.

The 22-year-old managed 15 goals and 11 assists in all competitions for Romanian side FCSB during the 2019/20 season.

According to Romanian journalist Emanuel Roşu, the winger’s representative made a trip to London to negotiate his client’s transfer to Selhurst Park.

Roşu states Coman, who is nicknamed ‘Mbappe’, is valued around €15m by his employer. He has two more years left on his contract with FCSB.

In another tweet, the journalist further explained the player has not travelled to the English capital, and images circulating on social media are from FCSB training.

Meanwhile, Giovanni Becali has also revealed he proposed the Romania international to the Eagles, and is awaiting a decision from the Premier League club. The player’s agent, who is also the cousin of FCSB owner Gigi Becali, however, has decided not to provide more information on the ongoing case.

“Yes, I’m out of the country, but I can’t tell you any more. It is true that we proposed Florinel Coman to Crystal Palace, and now we are waiting for their feedback,” Becali told Fanatik, as relayed by Gazeta Sporturilor.

“The move depends on some details, but it is discussed. I can’t talk about transfer amounts at the moment. I’ve proposed him and we’ll see what decision Palace will make.

“I told you at the beginning of the summer that there was a good chance that Florinel would leave and some didn’t really believe it.”

There’s been some suggestions that Coman’s move to Palace will depend on Wilfried Zaha’s exit from the club.
