Tivibu Spor have reported, via Ajansspor, a Premier League club has made a €17m bid for Trabzonspor starlet Yusuf Yazici.
The 21 year old central midfielder has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur in recent months following reports the Premier League side were looking to make an offer for the player.
Trabzonspor are in the danger of UEFA sanctions due to FFP and may need to sell players in this transfer window.
It’s claimed an English side has made an offer for Yazici, but the name of the club hasn’t yet been disclosed.
During the last window it was claimed Tottenham were showing an interest in the Turkey international and were lining up a serious offer.
Tottenham scouts were said to be monitoring the player last season and he impressed the London club. Local rivals Arsenal have also been linked with Yazici.
Yazici scored 10 goals last season and provided 5 assists in all competitions.
The midfielder is contracted to Trabzonspor June 2022.
At this point it all feels an effort to talk up the player’s potential value.
