Sabah report Brighton and Hove Albion owned striker Florin Andone may not play again this season and subsequently Galatasaray are now looking to send him back to England.
The Romanian striker picked up a knee injury against Gazisehir Gaziantep FK in November and hasn’t played since. He’s been on loan with Gala from Brighton since the start of the season.
He’d started to make his mark at Galatasaray prior to the injury, however, Sabah claim there’s a strong possibility that he won’t feature until the start of next season.
Recent medical reports suggested Andone’s return may take longer than expected and Sabah report if that’s the case then the Turkish champions will look to terminate his loan contract and send him back to Brighton.
Galatasaray will be looking to replace the player in this window, but first they need to get him off their wage bill.
The 26 year old has played nine games for Galatasaray this season in all competitions, scoring two goals. His contract at the AMEX Stadium will expire at the end of June 2023.
