Arsenal are one of the clubs who have made an offer for Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente, according to a claim from Spain on Tuesday.
Journalist Eduardo Inda, from the El Chiringuito de Jugones TV show, has claimed that besides the Gunners, Sevilla and some German sides are all keen on the 23-year-old as well.
The problem for those teams is that Real Madrid are not interested in selling. The report says the Galacticos have answered the offers with a substantial ‘no’.
We all know El Chiringuito de Jugones brings breaking transfer news every single day, and that’s one reason reason their dramatic claims are worth taking with a pinch of salt.
Marcos Llorente has only four appearances for Real Madrid this season, and as he isn”t exactly a youngster anymore, that’s why there are so many rumours about his departure from the Santiago Bernabeu.
The player’s contract with Real Madrid is set to run until 2021, and a flat ‘no’ at any interest doesn’t make a great deal of sense if he’s not getting games.
As for Arsenal, they were also linked in 2017, and then wild rumours started again in November.
