Turkish website Fotospor claim Southampton have accepted an offer from Galatasaray for Mario Lemina.
The Gabon international joined Gala at the start of the season on a loan deal and has been in impressive form since his arrival in Istanbul.
Previous reports in the Turkish press suggested Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim would like to keep him in his squad for next season, and now Fotospor report the Saints have agreed to again loan him to the Super Lig side.
Galatasaray were targeting Sivasspor midfielder Mert Hakan Yandas but Fotospor report Terim no longer wants him, as he’s happy for Lemina to remain in his team.
Earlier reports in the Turkish press suggested they could purchase Lemina on a permanent deal, however, given their finances this always seemed unlikely.
Lemina has made 27 appearances for Galatasaray in all competitions this season and scored one goal. His contract with Southampton will expire at the end of June 2022.
