According to Demioren Haber Agency, as covered by Fanatik, Trabzonspor have reached an agreement in principle with Sheffield United over the transfer of Uğurcan Çakır.
There were reports in the Turkish media at the weekend which claimed a deal for Çakır is done after Trabzonspor accepted a €22m offer from the Premier League side.
Last week it was reported the English side had put in a €15m offer for the Turkish goalkeeper, but this was rejected by the Super Lig side.
Demiroren Haber Agency say the only issue left is the profit from his next sale, and as soon as both clubs agree on this, the deal will be completed.
Sheffield United need to strengthen their squad to build on a solid debut season in the Premier League and signing the Turkish international could be a good move for the Blades.
The 24 year old made 43 appearances for Trabzonspor last season. His contract with his boyhood club will expire at the end of June 2024.
