According to a claim in the Italian media, Newcastle United have reached an agreement with Inter Milan to sign right sided player Valentino Lazaro.
This week we covered reports the Premier League side were looking to bring in the 23 year old as Steve Bruce looks to bolster his squad before the transfer deadline.
Brighton and West Ham United have also been linked with the player during this window.
TMW have reported on the latest developments with regards to Newcastle United’s pursuit of the player and they say the English side will loan him until the end of the season for a fee of €2m. It’s also claimed they will have a right of redemption, meaning the Magpies can sign Lazaro for €20m in the summer.
The Austria international only signed for Inter Milan last summer but he’s failed to hold down a place in Antonio Conte’s starting eleven. He cost the Serie A side €25m.
Lazaro is contracted to the Italian side until June 2023.
