Ajansspor claim Trabzonspor have shaken hands on a deal to sell Abdulkadir Omur to Liverpool for €20m, but the player will only join Reds at the end of the season.
The youngster has been linked with Liverpool in the past 12 months after exploding on the scene in the Super Lig.
It’s reported by the Turkish website that Liverpool have agreed on a deal with Trabzonspor for the 19 year old attacking midfielder, who’s also been linked with a move to Newcastle United and Bournemouth in this transfer window.
According to Ajansspor, Trabzonspor’s board don’t want to officially announce the deal in the middle of the season due the risk of protests from their fans.
The Super Lig club also have a chance to qualify for Europe and therefore they don’t want any distractions at the moment.
Liverpool in recent weeks have again been linked with a move for the player labelled the ‘Turkish Messi’ and if Ajansspor’s report is to be believed then he will join the Premier League club in the summer.
