According to regional news website Malatya Haber, Yeni Malatyaspor have agreed on a deal which will extend Fulham’s Aboubakar Kamara’s stay at the club for one more year.
It’s reported the Turkish club offered a €1.5m loan fee to Fulham to loan Kamara for another season and the Championship side have accepted this proposal.
New Yeni Malatyaspor manager Sergen Yalcin is said to be keen to keep Kamara at the club and that’s the reason they’ve decided to pay the €1.5m to Fulham, say Malatya Haber.
Kamara has also reportedly agreed personal terms to stay at Malatya for another season and the website reports his stay should be officially announced next week.
Last season the Fulham man only managed to score one goal in 13 appearances for the Super Lig club, but we covered recent claims from Turkey that Yalcin still wanted to keep him for next season.
The Turkish club will be competing in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League after finishing 5th in the league last season.
