Fanatik claim Galatasaray have agreed a deal with Cardiff City to sell their highly-rated defender Ozan Kabak for a fee believed to in the region of €9m.

The Turkish newspaper say Cardiff City and Galatasaray have been in constant contact regarding Kabak for the past couple of weeks and the Turkish club have accepted the Bluebirds’ offer.

It’s reported that there will be some performance-related bonuses in Kabak’s contract and Cardiff City will also pay a percentage to the Istanbul club on the player’s next transfer.

Manchester City and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the 18 year old but, according to Fanatik, the Welsh club have won the race to sign him.

Neil Warnock will be looking to consolidate Cardiff’s place in Premier League and they’ll want to strengthen their squad in January to boost their survival chances.

Kabak has made 17 appearances for Galatasaray this season after becoming a regular under Faith Terim.
