Ajansspor journalist Ekrem Konur claims Fenerbahce are interested in signing Malang Sarr but Arsenal and RB Leipzig are also keen on his services.
The promising defender is currently a free agent after his contract expired with French club Nice, and he’s been linked with a move to Fenerbahce in recent weeks.
However, Konur claims that Arsenal and RB Leipzig are also in talks with the French defender, and that the Premier League side are leading the chase at this stage.
Mikel Arteta will be keen to strengthen his squad this summer and signing Sarr could be an option for the Spaniard.
The 21 year old can also play as a left-back, and reports in the Turkish media say he’s the first choice for Fenerbahce’s new sporting director Emre Belozoglu. The Yellow Canaries will be looking to sign free agents this summer because of their poor financial situation.
Sarr featured 19 times in Ligue 1 last season and scored one goal.
