Chelsea invested in excess of €100m in signing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan in the last transfer window.
The Belgium international has five goals and an assist in 16 matches in all competitions. Despite bringing the 28-year-old back to Stamford Bridge, the Blues want to further bolster their attack for next season.

‘Another option’ for the Premier League side is Martínez. He has 10 goals and two assists from 15 league appearances, and has failed to score a goal or register an assist in the Champions League this season.
Last campaign, the Argentine already showed his ‘complementarity’ with Lukaku. Martínez can reunite with the former Everton star at Chelsea and ‘both could bring joy’ to the supporters of the English club.
For the Inter forward to arrive, Chelsea must first let one of their players leave. Timo Werner is mentioned as a player who could make room for Martínez.
