Christian Pulisic to Chelsea has been a big story over the past week, but that’s almost entirely due to old rumours being dragged up, presented as new, and then encouraging people to present their own claims based on those.
The motivation for it was all being dragged up again was England facing Pulisic and his US team, a match which Gareth Southgate’s side won 3-0.
The chatter, largely encouraged by the English media, has of course made its way to Germany.
Bild state: ‘Chelsea would most like to grab Pulisic after the first half of the season, as the club is threatened with a transfer ban in the summer due to a violation of Fifa regulations on foreign U18 transfers. But the winter change is unlikely according to BILD information. But not a change to England!’
That’s speculation built on speculation. Both the Pulisic claims and a transfer ban for Chelsea coming so soon, if one comes at all.
Borussia Dortmund don’t appear to be absolutely set against a sale, especially next summer and for a huge fee, with it being claimed by Bild that replacements are already being sought.
One option is Pedro Victor Delmino da Silva. Better known as Pedrinho, the 20 year old plays for Corinthians and along with his agent has been photographed meeting with Dortmund.
