Following Le Parisien’s report earlier on Wednesday that Paris Saint-Germain were turning their attention to Tiemoué Bakayoko in order to bolster their midfield, a spate of other articles have cropped up.
The claim was that a move to the French capital was being considered a ‘serious one’ and Chelsea were thinking about accepting a loan offer, even if their priority is to sell the player.
Since then, Foot Mercato have released an article of their own with their information, explaining the player is ‘seriously getting closer’ to the Ligue 1 champions.
It’s stated that a meeting is expected in the ‘coming days’ between Leonardo and the player’s representatives, with the talks with Chelsea based on a ‘loan with a view to buy’, which the Blues have currently set at somewhere between €30-33m.
That’s a bit more information than what Le Parisien had, and Foot Mercato also confirm that the Blues aren’t against letting their player go out on loan.
More on this when we come across it.
