The prospect of AC Milan buying Joao Felix from Chelsea permanently in the summer is ‘receding considerably’ as he fails to impress in Italy.

That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who cover the Portuguese forward today and how he’s failed to make an impression away from Chelsea so far.

The newspaper reports that the despite being a regular starter, Felix is yet to make a positive impression in Milan, with the enthusiasm that surrounded his arrival in January quickly fading away.

He’s gone from ‘acclaimed to blamed’ in 28 days and the most targeted player in the squad when it comes to criticism from the fanbase.

That’s come from his ‘consistently inadequate performances’ and the ‘constant decline’ that’s followed his encouraging debut against Roma.

That’s led to frustration as he’s ousted Christian Pulisic from the side despite the American being one of Milan’s ‘decisive’ players while his presence is also harming the likes of Tijjani Reijnders and Rafa Leao.

In short, there is an ‘obvious Joao Felix problem’ that manager Sergio Conceiçao has to find a way to solve but at this moment in time the possibility of buying Felix permanently from Chelsea is ‘receding considerably’.
