Victor Moses’ move to Inter Milan is considered ‘a matter of a medical’ away from happening, report Corriere dello Sport.
The Chelsea player, who has spent the first half of the season on loan at Fenerbahce and is technically still a player of the Turkish club, is a personal request of Antonio Conte and Inter are trying everything they can to please their manager this month.
Chelsea are said to be willing to send Moses to Inter, but they want a commitment from the club over buying him in the summer. It’s not worth the hassle for the Blues to just move him from one place to another, especially when they’re not that keen on helping Conte anyway.
Inter would prefer not to have to do that, so talks are ongoing between the parties to find a solution. Given the pressure Conte is putting on his club over transfers then there’s a chance the Serie A side will snap and agree to Chelsea’s terms.
Chelsea will also have to compromise, with their request of a £10m guaranteed fee seeming unlikely to be successful.
Still, despite the final details, Corriere clearly believe this one is imminent.
Meanwhile, Olivier Giroud’s move to Inter is thought to be wobbling.
