With SPAL set for another season in Serie B, the Italian club are ready to undergo big changes in the next few months to ensure they fight for a return to the elite in the near future.
To do so, they’ve decided to hire Fabio Lupo, once a director of football at Palermo and Venezia, to be their new general manager of the technical area.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who also reveal the Italian could be poaching a staff member from Chelsea in the process.
For those wondering, the Chelsea man is a scout, and he could also be joined by Armando Ortoli, currently at Cittadella.
We’ll have to see if the Italian leaves his post at the Blues in the coming weeks, but if he does, then Chelsea will have to replace him in some shape or form.
