Here we go again, the Eden Hazard to Real Madrid rumours are starting up again in Spain. Cope radio are the ones pushing it this time and on Sunday it was tweeted that Hazard would be ‘willing’ to join Real Madrid, as long as they’d have him.
That was then followed up by a very brief article explaining the Chelsea player would be ‘delighted’ to be trained by Zinedine Zidane, and that Hazard is an option should several conditions be met.
Those conditions are what happens with Isco and James Rodriguez. Should they both leave that would free up space and money for a pursuit of Hazard.
Even the most staunch Chelsea fan would have to accept that moving to Real Madrid would tempt Hazard, as would being coached by his boyhood hero Zidane. What wouldn’t tempt Hazard is the huge pressure, and the very real possibility of playing back-up to Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.
Benzema would likely be the one missing out if Hazard arrived from Chelsea, with Ronaldo going more central, but the Frenchman is a favourite of Florentino Perez and that’s seen him through several scrapes at the Spanish club.
