Last night, the Brazilian media reported that Robert Kenedy’s transfer to Flamengo could be delayed following the player’s suspicious of Covid-19 infection.

The Chelsea winger had done three tests, one positive, one negative and one inconclusive, and was waiting for a fourth result and get a confirmation.

Now according to Flazoeiro, the last exam was positive, and Kenedy, who’s already isolated, should now wait a little longer until completing the move away from Stamford Bridge.

It’s claimed that the Blues player should only head to Brazil next week and then sign for his new club.

Flazoeiro adds that the paperwork between Chelsea and Flamengo is done, but the contract between the Brazilian club and Kenedy still needs to be drafted.

Now with his isolation, that’s one more issue to delay the process.

The Brazilian press has reported that the winger is joining Flamengo on a one-year loan, with the Rio de Janeiro side then having an option to buy him for €10m.
