Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech is ‘more than a temptation’ for AC Milan this summer, according to Calciomercato.
The Serie A winners looked at the attacking midfielder last summer, but were unable to seal a deal.
An opportunity was born again for them, when the 29-year-old’s agent made contact with Milan chief Paolo Maldini, because the Blues player would like to make a switch to the San Siro.
According to the report Ziyech’s relationship with Thomas Tuchel has ‘got even colder’ in recent months. That is the reason why the former Ajax man has decided to leave.
Milan consider Ziyech as an ideal transfer candidate, due to his ability to operate in multiple attacking positions. Stefano Pioli’s side are of the belief he can raise the team’s technical level.
During the discussion with Maldini, the player’s entourage informed the Rossoneri about Chelsea’s conditions to let Ziyech leave. They are ready to sanction an ‘onerous loan’ for €6/7m, plus a fee that needs to be agreed for the right of redemption.
In the ‘coming days’, a meeting is planned between the leaders of the two clubs to try to start the negotiation.
