It appears that Hakim Ziyech will finally be leaving Chelsea this summer, as he has passed his medical to move to Galatasaray.

The happy news for the Morocco international and Blues fans is brought to you by journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who took to Twitter to deliver it.

He claims that the ‘detailed medical check’ of the Chelsea forward ‘has been completed’, and the Galatasaray club doctor, Yener Ince, will be travelling back to Turkey on Wednesday night.

He had gone to London to do the check up on site, rather than have the player fly to the country, probably as a precaution after Ziyech failed his last one with Al-Nassr.

Both of those were huge blows for the forward, who has been stuck, unhappy, at Chelsea for some time, and who could finally get his desired exit from Stamford Bridge.

Bought from Ajax for €40m when Frank Lampard was in charge of the club the first time around, Ziyech, despite scoring some important goals for the Blues, never managed to fully convince in the Premier League.

Now, he looks likely to get a new chance in Turkey, as long as Galatasaray receive all the proper paperwork, with Chelsea likely wanting to avoid a repeat of the Paris Saint-Germain fiasco.
