With Chelsea getting heavily linked to the likes of Ben Chilwell and Alex Telles in the past few weeks, it’s time to consider that at least one left-back is leaving the Blues soon.

So with Italian sides also chasing Emerson Palmieri for a while now, it’s obvious the local press would consider this a boost in the pursuit for him.

Tuttosport has a story today saying Juventus will ‘accelerate’ in their pursuit of the Chelsea player while the Blues try to replace him.

They say there are ‘a thousand reasons’ why Palmieri hasn’t reached his full potential yet, and the player doesn’t like ‘sergeants’ like Frank Lampard in charge.

Once again, Tuttosport says Palmieri would be open to a move to Juventus, even though they have Alex Sandro getting most of the minutes at the Serie A side for now.

The outlet takes claims from England to say Chelsea are expecting an offer of between €25m and €30m for Palmieri, which doesn’t really look like a problem for the Old Lady to afford.
