Chelsea will have a ‘reserved seat’ at the Lisbon derby tomorrow night, according to reports from Portugal.

Newspaper Record today shares a front page story telling all the clubs who are set to send scouts for the cup match between Benfica and Sporting.

It’s said that even though Chelsea are not a club who keep an official watching all matches in Portugal, they will be sending an emissary specifically for this game.

Since the story is about all those clubs having representatives in Lisbon, Record names many players who may be observed.

The list includes the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Gonçalo Inácio, Ousmane Diomande at Sporting, and João Neves and Antonio Silva at Benfica.

When speaking of Chelsea, though, it’s hard not to think of their specific chase for Gyokeres, which has been reported for a while now.

The striker is having a tremendous season, with Record also sharing a story showing that he has been involved in 41% of the 101 goals scored by the Lions this season, with 30 goals and 11 assists since his arrival at the club.

The outlet points out that Chelsea may also be interested in watching Lions’ manager Ruben Amorim, who has been reported as one of the options they have to possibly replace Mauricio Pochettino in the summer.
