Chelsea are one of the clubs who ‘asked’ for information for the signing of Porto star Luis Diaz, according to reports.
Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra writes on his Twitter that the Blues interested in buying the 24-year-old next year, with the Premier League being the most likely destination for him.
It’s claimed that the list of sides who are in the race are just collecting information for now, although they’ve already been told that with around €50m on the table, they can already start negotiating with Porto for the signing.
Chelsea’s interest in Diaz had already been reported by the Portuguese media, as last month, we had seen a couple of outlets saying the Blues were in the race for the winger.
Now even though Porto don’t want to lose him in January, the big list of clubs chasing their star only makes it clear that the Dragons are unlikely to manage to hold him for much longer.
