At Sport Witness, we like to keep you up to date with your club’s loanees, but at Chelsea, this could be a job in itself.
Of course, some loans are more publicised than others, which is the case with Charly Musonda’s temporary deal with Real Betis, where the young Belgian is becoming an important player.
That was, at least, until some knee pain occurred and the youngster was sent back to Chelsea to have the injury checked out, just in case it was something more serious and the loan had to be cut short.
Betis felt it was better if his parent club, with a medical staff who know him better, did the tests, and the good news is, he’s fine.
AS on Thursday report the player will be back in Seville during the day after the London club dismissed the possibility of a bad injury.
The Spanish newspaper say that, had he not missed training, he could have even been in the squad for this weekend, but as things stand, and if no other injury occurs, he could be fine to play against Villarreal on the 6th of November.
Considering the talent the player has and his performances since joining Betis, there must have been some relief from both sides when he was given the all clear.
