Chelsea star Willian has spoken to the Brazilian media once gain, this time in an interview with newspaper O Estado de São Paulo.

The player has taken the Premier League break to visit his home country, and now waits for the Coronavirus crisis to be over so he can get back to England.

Even though it’s been claimed the league may return with no fans, Willian has warned it could still be dangerous for the players, since they could spread the disease between themselves.

“If we restart the game without fans but there is contact in the field, we can spread the virus among us,” said Willian.

“It’s not a bad idea, but you need to know very carefully what is going to happen. Maybe a player can have the virus and we play against each other. I play against someone and get the virus, then I go home and pass it on to my family. We have to be careful.”

It’s well known that Willian’s contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season, and it doesn’t really look like he’s signing a new deal with the club.

But even though the expiry date is in June, the player confirms it’s his wish to finish the season with the Blues, regardless of having a contract with the club or not.

“I want to give everything for Chelsea until the end, as I always did, until the end of my contract, until the end of the league.

“I have to discuss with the club to see what we are going to do. But for me, from my side, I have no problem playing until the end of the season.”
