Chelsea owned attacker Victor Moses has spoken about his future after Fenerbahce’s 1-0 win against Erzurumspor yesterday.
Moses came on as a substitute in the first half to replace Mathieu Valbuena and the Chelsea man scored from the penalty spot in the second half to give his team victory.
Speaking to Bein Sports after the end of the game, Moses was asked if he will remain at Fenerbahce next season. He replied, as covered by Sporx: “You will never know what will happen in the future. But to say it clear, I signed a contract here for 18 months. I came here to play regularly, enjoy my time. I am enjoying it now and our coach has trust in me.”
After the arrival of Maurizio Sarri last summer, Moses found himself out of the team with the Italian coach preferring a differen tactical set-up which didn’t really leave room for the player.
Subsequently he was loaned out to Fener during the last transfer window where he’s been utilised as a left or right winger.
The Nigerian international has 15 games for the Istanbul club since his arrival in January, scoring three goals. Moses is under contract at Chelsea until June 2021.
