Fotospor report Galatasaray assistant manager Hasan Sas is following Leo Bonatini from Wolverhampton Wanderers as their search for a forward continues.
Galatasaray have made it their priority to bring in a forward in January after selling Bafétimbi Gomis in the last transfer window.
Yesterterday we covered reports from the Turkish press that Teemu Pukki is an option for the Super Lig club after Hasan Sas watched him last weekend in Norwich City’s victory over Millwall, and it seems Bonatini is also on their short list.
According to Fotospor, Bonatini is on Galatasaray’s radar but Hasan Sas couldn’t watch him in action because the Brazilian wasn’t selected in Wolves’ matchday squad for last Sunday’s clash with Arsenal.
The 24 year old forward has yet to start a Premier League game for Wolves after scoring 12 goals in the Championship last season, however, being out of the squad entirely was a new development.
Galatasaray may be a good option for Bonatini and a loan deal could suit both parties in the upcoming transfer window. The Turkish champions still have a chance of making the knock-out stages of the Champions League.
