They claim the conversations for the manager’s stay at the club have started last night and club chairman Steven Zhang must now ‘quickly convince’ the coach with a project so he can reject the chance to take charge of Tottenham.
Zhang’s attempts to get Conte to stay will be the ‘first step towards defining the framework’ of next season, with the issue coming to the fore ‘in the coming days’.
Earlier today, we’ve also seen ESPN journalist Gabriele Marcotti claiming that Conte doesn’t have a good reputation in England, and that could harm his chances of moving back to the Premier League.
