IFK Norrkoping’s chairman has told the Swedish a number of his players are continually linked with moves to other clubs, so it’s nothing to panic about. There have been claims in recent weeks the IFK Norrkoping defender Linus Wahlqvist could end up in England, with Leeds United one of those clubs keen to him.
NT have reported two IFK Norrkoping players are receiving attention from other clubs, including Walhqvist. Sebastian Andersson has been linked with a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray whilst there has been constant speculation Wahlqvist could also leave the club.
Speaking to NT, Peter Hunt was asked about the attention the likes of Andersson and Wahlqvist have been getting from other clubs.
“There will a new rumour every day. There is nothing we can’t comment. We do not have anything to tell you now,” said the IFK Norrkoping chairman.
There have been recent reports Leeds United are interested in Wahlqvist, along with Stoke City. It’s been claimed Leeds United are preparing a bid for the youngster, and may look to move in on the player in January. The player has also spoken in the past few days to say he would eventually be interested moving abroad.
